TriCity Sleep Study Services was founded by Zack Freeman, who spent over 10 years as Sleep Care Manager at TriCity Lung & Sleep under the direction of Dr. Saad S. Ahmad, MD. During that time, Zack managed every aspect of sleep lab operations — from patient scheduling and technician oversight to scoring, PAP therapy education, and AASM compliance review.
That hands-on experience with hundreds of patients and thousands of studies built the foundation for what TriCity Sleep Study Services offers today: accurate scoring, deep Alice platform expertise, and the practical knowledge that only comes from running a sleep lab day in and day out.

TriCity Sleep Study Services operates under TriCity Technologies LLC, based in Saginaw, Michigan. We serve sleep centers nationwide through secure remote scoring and consultation services, with on-site availability in the Michigan tri-cities region.

When Philips announced the discontinuation of the Alice 5 and Alice 6 platforms in 2024, it created immediate uncertainty for sleep centers that had built their operations around these systems. With official end-of-service set for January 2029, labs needed answers — and a partner who understood both the technology and the operational realities.
