The Alice Platform: Still Running Through 2029
In 2024, Philips announced the discontinuation of the Alice 5 and Alice 6 sleep diagnostic systems, with official end-of-service set for January 25, 2029. Thousands of sleep centers still run Alice every night, and they still need studies scored by someone who knows the platform.
Who Scores Alice Studies Remotely?
TriCity Sleep Study Services scores Alice 5 and Alice 6 studies remotely, inside your own Sleepware G3, at $35 per study with a 48-hour turnaround. Every study is scored by Zack Freeman, RPSGT, CCSH, who has managed Alice-based sleep labs for more than ten years.
Sleepware G3 Native
Scoring is done in your Sleepware G3 through a secure remote session, so studies stay on your system and your workflow doesn't change.
Alice Signal Know-How
Years of daily work with Alice headbox setups and Alice signals means fewer artifacts mistaken for events.
PSG and HSAT
Diagnostic, split-night, titration, MSLT/MWT and home sleep tests, all scored to current AASM criteria.
48-Hour Turnaround
Studies are ready for physician review within 48 hours of being ready to score.

Alice Equipment, Repair and Parts
TriCity Sleep Study Services doesn't sell or repair Alice equipment. If your lab needs a replacement Alice unit, a headbox, parts or a repair, I'll refer you to Alice Repair Services, an independent company not affiliated with Philips. Just mention it when you get in touch.
Migration Planning for 2029
While we help keep your current Alice systems running, we also understand the reality: the January 2029 end-of-service date is coming. Planning your transition now gives you time to evaluate alternatives, budget for new equipment, and avoid disruption to patient care.
Our consultation services include Alice platform transition planning, where we help you:
- Assess your current Alice setup and remaining lifespan
- Evaluate alternative platforms (Natus, Compumedics, Cadwell, and others)
- Develop a phased migration timeline that fits your budget
- Plan data migration and staff training for the new system
- Maintain scoring continuity during the transition period
